Simple Ways To Improve Brand Awareness

If you are starting a business with limited resources, it’s only natural to be concerned about how you’ll be able to build a strong customer base on the back of this. After all, many of the traditional methods of customer acquisition, such as thorough marketing campaigns, can be costly. Thankfully, however, it is totally possible to stand out in a crowded market and generate brand awareness without breaking the bank.

With that in mind, here are some simple ways in which you can improve brand awareness.

Perfect your logo. You likely encounter thousands of logos every single day – whether you’re scrolling through social media or walking past local shops. While you may not realise it, each time you pass by a logo you’re becoming gradually more familiar with the brand. This will generate a sense of familiarity between yourself and the company and encourage you to make a purchase. As such, it’s crucial that you get your logo right. Thankfully, this does not have to be expensive. In fact, there’s plenty of free software online that you can use to design a standout logo, such as Canva

Add some ‘oomph’ to your storefront. If you run a brick-and-mortar business, the easiest way to improve brand awareness is to make your storefront stand out. While this can be achieved with some simple branding, it’s also crucial that you create eye-catching displays. One way in which you can achieve this goal is by displaying some CSA Balloons with personalized branding alongside your products – as this will capture the attention of any passersby.

Update your social media accounts. Having a strong social media presence is key to achieving the brand awareness you are looking for – but it’s not enough to simply set up an account and post whenever you feel like it. You need to be consistent in your approach, as this is the easiest way to build up a following and generate some excitement around your products or services. To put it simply,

Inactivity is the silent social media killer that will cause you to actively lose followers. When you consider that higher follower rates often convert into more sales, it’s crucial that you don’t miss out in this fashion.

Rely on your USP. In most cases, brand awareness is built upon what makes your brand different from every other brand out there. This is known as your USP, or unique selling proposition. If you are unsure as to what this is, you’re already putting yourself on the path towards failure – as this should be the key feature in all of your marketing campaigns. Thankfully, identifying your USP (or USPs) is rather simple – you just have to figure out what your company does that is different from your competitors. For example, you may offer products at better prices, or products that contain new and innovative features. While it’s great to have multiple USPs, try to focus on one thing you do really well and market yourself around this – the other benefits can be drawn upon at a later date.
