Life, Leadership, and Money Matters

We Have Enough wealth, we are the global 1%

Do you have enough?

How much is enough?

I think we have enough wealth to be the envies of the world.

Are you looking for money and status?

Are you looking to spend time with your friends and family?

Are you looking for leisure time to be able to work on creative projects?

Or are you looking to have all the signals of success? A fancy car? a big house? Designer clothes? etc.

How much do you must have before you consider that you have enough?

I have enough

For me, I prioritize leisure time, time to read, to write, to be with friends, to meditate about the direction of my life.

To achieve lot’s of leisure time, I try to work as least as possible. I am a dance teacher, I am a photographer, and I also do other side hustles.

I am very far from being financially independent, but I feel that I have enough

I live in abundance…

My monthly revenues and expenses

My monthly expenses are about $1500 per month.

I earn about $2,000 per month.

I consume $1,500 and put $500 on my retirement account month after month.

I have enough

  • I live in an apartment (3 1/2) in one of the nicest neighborhood in the city
  • I have a small second-hand car which takes me everywhere
  • I have a bicycle
  • I have a Smartphone
  • I have a laptop
  • I buy fresh food from the supermarket every day
  • And I eat out once a week.
Is easy to have enough is a country such as Canada.

I feel completely rich, I have enough

With my smart phone or laptop, I have all the world’s knowledge in my pocket at all times. I can access Wikipedia, I can access many of the major Universities websites and take classes for free, and I can access YouTube and learn to do practically anything.

I have to access so much entertainment. All the movies on Netflix, all the music in Pandora, and much more.

Through Skype, Google Talk and many other tools, and WhatsApp, I can have conversations with people all over the world practically for free.

I live in a city, Montreal, where are amazing parks only a few kilometers from anyone. During the Jazz Festival, we can see hundreds of famous musicians playing for free. There are free movies, there is free dancing in outside public spaces.

I don’t know of anyone who doesn’t have access to all the wealth and opportunity that I have.

I think that like to compare with others who have more, and that’s what creates a feeling that we don’t have enough. But believe me, we are rich beyond our own comprehension.
