How to to be unreliable in business and in life

Top five ways to be unreliable in business and in life

Everyone is talking about how to be successful in business, but today I want to talk about one of the major causes of failure in business which is to be unreliable.

  1. Consistently Miss Deadlines: Whether it’s for work, social commitments, or personal tasks, consistently fail to meet deadlines. Procrastinate on tasks until the last minute or simply forget about them altogether.
  2. Make Excuses: Whenever confronted about your unreliability, resort to making excuses rather than taking responsibility. Blame external factors or claim unforeseen circumstances prevented you from fulfilling your commitments.
  3. Overpromise and Underdeliver: Exaggerate your capabilities or willingness to help others. Agree to take on more responsibilities than you can handle, only to fall short on delivering results or fulfilling promises.
  4. Lack of Communication: Avoid communicating your progress or any challenges you may face while working on tasks. Keep others in the dark about your availability, progress, or any potential issues that may arise.
  5. Inconsistency: Be inconsistent in your actions and behavior. One day, you may appear enthusiastic and committed, while the next, you’re completely disengaged or indifferent.

And there you have it. Please write in the comments if you know of any other ways to be unreliable in business and life.
