Presidents' day

Happy Presidents’ Day

Due to my podcast, I have been reading and talking about different U.S. Presidents. My favorites by far have been Carter, Clinton, and Obama. If we look further back in history, I have a great deal of admiration for Abraham Lincoln.

Presidents’ day is celebrated in the U.S. on the 3rd Monday of February. The observance usually falls on or near George Washington’s February 22 birth date and the holiday is still officially known as Washington’s Birthday.

For us, who enjoy watching stock market news, we will have to wait until Tuesday to continue watching the ebbs and flows of the market, because the stock market is usually closed on Presidents’ day.
