Is your Site Stopping you from Converting? Find out Here

There is no shortage of posts on the internet that tell you how to get more traffic to your site. You can invest in things such as online advertising, or you can even invest in SEO if you want. Influencer marketing is also a very common way as well. That being said, you have to remember that getting all this traffic doesn’t mean that your digital marketing should come to an end. You still have to make sure that you serve content and that you get your visitors to convert and engage. If you want to find out more, then take a look below.

You Are Focused on the Design

One reason why your business site could be failing you is if you are focused on the design and not the goals. If your site is not helping your visitors to purchase or even research, then it will not be working in your favor. Websites have been the domain for designers for a long time, but if you want to compete, then you need to make sure that your site is aligned with the goals of your consumers where possible. If it doesn’t, then they will find someone else who will.

Your Value isn’t Clear

What value can you truly promise to offer your visitor? Is it stated on your site? Too many sites have muddled value propositions, or they simply do not have one at all. If you can, you need to think about your biggest pains and you also need to look at what your target visitors are experiencing too. Think about how your solution is able to help them. If you cannot make this crystal clear, then you are missing out. If you run a car dealership then it could be worth investing in an auto purchase bot as this could help you to answer your customer queries as soon as they land on your site, making your value clear.

You’re Guessing

You cannot hope to manage what you do not measure. A lot of people do not track their site activity and they do not review their results either. A lot of people have a good idea of what they should be measuring, but they do not know what to take out of the data. This is understandable, but if possible, you need to start out with your goals. What are your objectives? What counts as a win for you? When you have this information, you then need to work backwards, and you need to work on your numbers. You can then regularly check the data so you can see what is working and what isn’t.

You’re Not Listening

Too many companies focus on building their sites using very old mindsets for marketing. They also treat their site as if it is a one-way communication billboard rather than being a two-way retail store. That being said, things have changed, and in this day and age, the power lies with your customers. Listen to what they have to say, and you will soon find that things are able to improve drastically for you, so keep that in mind.
