Gold’s Gym Punished a Women To Protect A Transgender: The Day Women’s Safety Was Cancelled

Tish Hyman walked into Gold’s Gym to work out. She walked out without a membership – and with a story every woman needs to hear.

Let me be crystal-clear from the first sentence: biological women deserve private, sex-segregated spaces. Locker rooms, bathrooms, and changing areas are not “inclusive” zones for ideological experiments. They are the last line of defense for female dignity, safety, and basic human decency.

Yet on November 3, 2025, at the Beverly Center Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles, that line was erased – and the woman who dared to speak up was punished.

The Incident: A Nightmare in Broad Daylight

Tish Hyman – a Grammy-nominated singer, a proud lesbian, and a paying member – was undressed in the women’s locker room when a biological male identifying as transgender walked in. According to Hyman’s own account (filmed and posted for the world to see), this individual:

  • Stared at her while she was vulnerable and half-naked
  • Called her a “bitch”
  • Made sexually aggressive comments (“straight women like dick”)
  • Had been reported multiple times by other women for the same predatory behavior

Staff did nothing. Why? Because California law – specifically AB 1266 and the broader transgender access mandate – forces gyms, schools, and businesses to allow anyone to enter women’s facilities based solely on self-declared “gender identity.”When Hyman confronted the individual and demanded safety, Gold’s Gym revoked her membership on the spot. Police escorted her out – not the harasser.

The victim was punished. The aggressor was protected by policy.

Gold’s Gym: Corporate Cowardice in Workout Clothes

Gold’s Gym has issued zero public statements as of this writing. No apology. No review of policy. No reinstatement of Tish Hyman’s membership.

Instead, they hide behind “state law” like a shield made of wet cardboard.

Let’s be honest: this isn’t about law. It’s about cowardice.

Gold’s Gym could install gender-neutral single-stall facilities – a simple, affordable solution used by gyms worldwide. They could lobby for legislative exemptions for private businesses. They could stand with their female members.

Instead, they chose virtue-signaling over victim protection.

And now? #BoycottGoldsGym is trending. Memberships are being canceled coast to coast. Google reviews are tanking. Women are filming themselves walking out – and tagging @GoldsGym with a message: “We will not pay to be unsafe.”

Good. Let the market speak.

California’s Transgender Law: Good Intentions, Dangerous Outcomes

Let’s talk about the law itself.

AB 1266 (2013) and its successors were sold as “anti-discrimination.” Noble goal. But noble intentions don’t justify erasing sex-based protections.

Here’s what the law ignores:

  • Biological reality: Males, on average, are stronger, faster, and more sexually aggressive – even after hormone therapy.
  • Pattern recognition: Self-ID policies have led to documented cases of voyeurism, assault, and harassment in women’s spaces (Wi Spa, Loudoun County schools, UK prisons – the list grows).
  • Female consent: Women did not vote to share intimate spaces with male bodies. This was imposed top-down by activists and compliant politicians.

The result? Women are being told to shut up, change elsewhere, or leave. That is not equality. That is institutionalized gaslighting.

Tish Hyman: A Hero in Leggings

I want to end with praise – loud, unapologetic praise – for Tish Hyman.

She didn’t ask for this fight. She just wanted to lift weights in peace.

But when her privacy was violated, she refused to be silent.

She filmed the truth. She named the problem. She called for real solutions – like gender-neutral facilities – instead of hysteria.

And she did it all while being called names, threatened, and kicked out of her own gym.

Tish, if you’re reading this: Thank you.
You are not transphobic. You are not a bigot.
You are a woman who refused to be erased.

Your courage just lit a fire that’s spreading across the country. Women are waking up. Mothers are pulling memberships. Daughters are asking, “Why don’t we matter?”

Keep speaking. Keep filming. Keep fighting.

The Way Forward: Simple, Sane, Safe

This doesn’t have to be complicated.

  1. Gyms: Install single-stall, gender-neutral facilities for anyone who needs them. Keep women’s spaces for biological females only.
  2. Lawmakers: Amend self-ID laws to require objective criteria (like completed surgical transition) or third-space accommodations.
  3. Women: Cancel. Boycott. Speak. Your money, your voice, your safety.

Gold’s Gym had a choice: stand with women or stand with ideology.

They chose wrong.

Tish Hyman chose right. Women’s safety is not negotiable.
