The first option that we’ve got for you is that you can start a little cafe if this is something you like the sound of! You can have a mixture of cooked foods and bakery treats to sell, invest in a good coffee machine and get a reputation for being the best in town. We know that this can cost quite a lot of money to get started, so you might need to apply for a small business loan or something similar to get yourself off the ground, but if you start small and then work your way up, it should be easier to manage.

As a fun little idea, you could even try adding a small bookstore attached to the cafe. We’re sure that you’ve read about these places or seen them in movies, but how many have you ever actually seen around?

Open A Restaurant 

Another option you’ve got is to go all out and start a restaurant. If this is something that you think you would enjoy, the fast paced environment, the new food creations regularly, and feeding people for many years to come, then this might be a path to travel down. However, you do need to do some research into the restaurant scene in your area already, look at the type of food they serve and so on. You don’t want to go into direct competition with anyone while you’re brand new, especially nearby, so make sure you’re thorough and make decisions based on what you see.

Baking Treats… 

Finally, if you love and adore all things kitchen related then how about you start by baking goodies. These can be made and given out many places before you start charging, you want people to know how good they are. This could be anything from cookies to cakes, and can be provided for school fairs and local events in your neighborhood. Once word spreads at how good you are in the kitchen, you will start getting orders pouring in. Make sure you follow all health and safety regulations otherwise you could get in trouble. 

You will also want to have all the necessary ingredients you need, butter, sugar, and golden syrup for instance. The last thing you want is to run out as you are making an order for someone special.
