Why You Don’t Need to Be Tech-Savvy to Benefit from AI Tools

Why You Don’t Need to Be Tech-Savvy to Benefit from AI Tools

It’s common for many to think that artificial intelligence is limited to developers, data scientists, or those working for high-tech companies. This may no longer be accurate. One of the advantages of using modern AI tools is their ability to make the “tech” portion of the product nearly invisible to the user. A person does not need to be familiar with programming or algorithms to use AI. They need to be familiar with their own workflow.

Simplifying AI

Modern AI platforms are being created to conceal complexity. Many of the platforms are creating ways to automate tasks you were previously unaware existed as potential automations.  In addition, these platforms are providing users with interfaces similar to chat boxes rather than coding environments. As such, users do not need to “speak tech,” but instead can communicate with the platform using their business language. The AI then translates the user’s communication into whatever actions are necessary to complete the task.

Gaining Value Without Code

If you are running a small business with a handful of employees and are responsible for both sales and marketing, you may feel as though AI is either too complicated or too costly to implement in your organization. However, there are numerous platforms available that can connect directly into your current organizational systems (e.g., CRM, email) and create a seamless experience. These platforms typically require little to no technical configuration and can create value for your organization immediately.

An excellent example of this is AI sales automation software for business that allows companies to automatically manage and schedule prospect outreach, follow-up communications, and meetings based on your organization’s current systems (CRM, Email). The software operates seamlessly within your organization’s existing systems without requiring any technical configurations. Once you initiate usage of the software, you will see immediate benefits to your organization.

Confidence Through Experience

After utilizing an AI-based application for a period of time, you may find yourself viewing AI as an assistant versus a “tech upgrade.” Additionally, you may find yourself developing trust in AI to manage the repetitive tasks you previously dreaded. AI can enable you to develop reports and create clarity around your data while enabling you to free up time to focus on the aspects of your job that truly add value (i.e., conversations, strategies, creative thinking).

What occurs after you gain confidence in AI is incredible — you can devote the majority of your time to activities related to your job that matter. You will allow AI to perform the repetitive functions that consume your energy.

Take Away

In conclusion, AI is no longer about understanding how it works. Rather, it is about understanding what you would like it to accomplish. There have been tremendous advancements in AI and its development. AI-based applications are now far more intelligent, simple, and intuitive than they were in years past.

Whether you are a solopreneur, a manager, or a representative of a large organization, AI can increase the productivity of your work without requiring you to become knowledgeable in a particular area.

Do not delay integrating AI into your organization because you do not believe you possess the skills required to utilize AI-based technologies. Your curiosity, direction, and willingness to attempt to learn and apply AI-based solutions are likely sufficient to enable you to derive benefit from AI. The remainder of the process will be handled by AI.
