Trump Sinks Another Drug Boat From Venezuela

in

This week, President Donald Trump once again demonstrated his commitment to protecting American families from the deadly scourge of drugs. The U.S. military successfully carried out its third strike in September against a narcotrafficking vessel operating in the Caribbean.

According to President Trump, the targeted boat was “affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organization conducting narcotrafficking in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility.” Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transporting illicit narcotics along a known trafficking corridor, en route to U.S. shores. Thanks to decisive action, the boat was destroyed before it could deliver its lethal cargo.

“On my Orders, the Secretary of War ordered a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organization conducting narcotrafficking in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was trafficking illicit narcotics, and was transiting along a known narcotrafficking passage enroute to poison Americans. The strike killed 3 male narcoterrorists aboard the vessel, which was in international waters. No U.S. Forces were harmed in this strike. STOP SELLING FENTANYL, NARCOTICS, AND ILLEGAL DRUGS IN AMERICA, AND COMMITTING VIOLENCE AND TERRORISM AGAINST AMERICANS!!!”

A Direct Blow to Narcoterrorism

The video shared by the President shows a speedboat racing across the water before being struck by U.S. missiles and erupting in flames. White House Communications Director Steven Cheung summarized it bluntly: “It was at this moment, the narcoterrorists knew they screwed up.”

This is not an isolated operation. Earlier this month, two other drug-running boats were destroyed in similar missions—one allegedly tied to the Tren de Aragua gang, a group designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S. earlier this year. These operations have collectively prevented vast quantities of narcotics from ever reaching American neighborhoods, sparing countless families the devastation of addiction and overdose.

Preventing Hundreds of Deaths

The United States continues to grapple with a deadly opioid crisis. Every shipment stopped before it crosses into the country represents lives saved. Each boat destroyed means fewer drugs on our streets, fewer overdoses in our hospitals, and fewer parents mourning the loss of their children.

By striking these vessels at sea, President Trump and the U.S. military are sending a powerful message: America will not sit idly by while narcoterrorists profit from poisoning its people.

A Controversial but Necessary Shift

Some lawmakers and human rights organizations have raised concerns about the legality of using military force in these operations. But the Trump administration has made its stance clear—traditional enforcement alone is not enough. The flow of narcotics has become a matter of national security, demanding strong, decisive action.

The strikes also highlight a dramatic shift in how the U.S. is prepared to combat the drug trade. No longer confined to interdiction and arrests, the military is now directly targeting traffickers before they can even reach U.S. soil.

Conclusion

For too long, narcotraffickers and gangs have treated the Caribbean and Latin America as open highways to funnel poison into the United States. President Trump’s bold actions mark a turning point. Each operation not only disrupts the flow of drugs but also restores confidence that the U.S. government is serious about defending its people.

By stopping these boats, President Trump has likely prevented hundreds of drug-related deaths. For that, Americans should be grateful.
