Minneapolis School Massacre: Transgender Shooter’s Motives Probed in Hate Crime Investigation

On August 27, 2025, a devastating Minneapolis school shooting at Annunciation Catholic School left two children, ages 8 and 10, dead and 17 others injured. The shooter, identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, a transgender woman born Robert Westman, fired a rifle, shotgun, and pistol through church windows during a Mass celebrating the school year’s start. The FBI is investigating the Minneapolis school shooting as a possible act of domestic terrorism and a hate crime targeting Catholics, raising questions about motives, mental health, and societal factors.

The Minneapolis School Shooting: What Happened?

The Minneapolis school shooting occurred during a morning Mass at Annunciation Catholic School, a private K-8 institution in south Minneapolis. Robin Westman, who legally changed their name in 2020 and identified as female, attacked worshippers and students, killing two young children and injuring 14 others, including 12 children and two adults. Westman died by suicide in the church parking lot. Police confirmed Westman had no significant criminal history and legally purchased the firearms used in the attack.

Reports suggest Westman was a former student at the school, and their mother previously worked there, though these details await official confirmation. A manifesto posted on a now-removed YouTube channel, partially written in Russian, included hateful messages like “For the Children,” “Where is your God?” and “Kill Donald Trump” scrawled on ammunition. These writings offer a glimpse into the shooter’s mindset, fueling speculation about their motives in the Minneapolis school shooting.

Transgender Identity and the Mental Health Debate

Secretary Kristi Noem had this to say: “We have confirmation that the shooter at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, MN was a 22 year-old man, claiming to be transgender. This deranged monster targeted our most vulnerable: young children praying in their first morning Mass of the school year. This deeply sick murderer scrawled the words ‘For the Children’ and ‘Where is your God?’ and ‘Kill Donald Trump’ on a rifle magazine. This level of violence is unthinkable. Our deepest prayers are with the children, parents, families, educators, and Christians everywhere. We mourn with them, we pray for healing, and we will never forget them.”

In addition to the mental sickness of believing he was a woman, when he was really man with a mental sickness, other mental health issues such as depression, isolation, or extremist ideologies, may have contributed to this act of violence, as seen in Westman’s manifesto, which fixated on past mass shooters and a desire for infamy.

A Hate Crime Against Catholics?

The FBI’s classification of the Minneapolis school shooting as a potential hate crime targeting Catholics points to a possible religious motive. The attack occurred during a Catholic Mass, and Westman’s writings suggest hostility toward religious institutions. Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara emphasized that a motive is not yet confirmed, but the investigation is exploring whether anti-Catholic sentiment, ideological extremism, or personal grievances drove the attack. The Minneapolis school shooting has prompted calls for stronger protections for religious communities and schools.

The trans movement is radicalizing the mentally ill

One thing is VERY clear: the trans movement is radicalizing the mentally ill into becoming violent terrorists who target children for murder. The pattern is undeniable: Today’s Annunciation Catholic Church shooter identified as trans. The Nashville Christian shooter identified as trans. The Lakewood Church shooter identified as trans. The Colorado Springs shooter identified as non binary. The Denver shooter identified as trans. The Aberdeen shooter identified as trans. The Iowa high school shooter was a trans activist. Radical gender ideology is driving violence and targeting innocent people. Enough excuses. Enough denial. The threat is real, and it’s escalating. Time for a national intervention.

Moving Forward: Healing and Solutions

The Annunciation Catholic School community is reeling from the Minneapolis school shooting. Principal Matt DeBoer praised teachers and older students for their heroic actions in protecting others. President Donald Trump ordered flags lowered to half-staff, and Pope Leo XIV offered condolences. As investigations continue, the focus must shift to healing and prevention.

Transgender is a mental illness and it needs to start being referred to as such. “Affirming” this mental illness results in people getting hurt. It needs to stop before more innocent people get kiIIed.

Every trans person is dangerously delusional. They are all mentally sick and doctors should be legally barred from affirming their mental illness in any way. Adult or child. Everyone knows it. Now innocent children are dying because so many people were too cowardly to speak up.

The Minneapolis school shooting is a tragic reminder of the complex interplay of mental health, ideology, and gun access. By addressing these issues thoughtfully, society can honor the victims and work toward a safer future.
