Another Jew-hating terrorist tried to massacre British Jews this week — and once again, the government pretended to be surprised.
On Thursday morning in Manchester’s Crumpsall neighbourhood, as families arrived for Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, a terrorist drove his car into Jewish pedestrians outside the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue.
Then he got out and started stabbing whoever was still moving, including a security guard trying to hold him back.
Greater Manchester Police shot him dead on the spot. Two others were arrested. The case has now been handed to counter-terror police and MI5 — because, shock of all shocks, a man who rams his car into synagogue-goers on Yom Kippur might have been influenced by extremist propaganda.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the attack “shocking” and immediately promised more police outside synagogues.
With all due respect, Prime Minister — this is your mess.
You Don’t Get to Claim You’re Protecting Jews When You Enabled the Climate That Endangered Them
For years — under both Conservative and Labour governments — Britain has allowed so-called “pro-Palestinian” marches to fill the streets on a weekly basis. Except let’s stop pretending these are peace rallies.
They are pro-Hamas demonstrations, plain and simple.
They are not mourning dead children — they are celebrating dead Jews. They chant “From the river to the sea,” which is not a call for coexistence. It is a call for genocide.
And the police? They escort them through London like honoured guests.
They protect the mob while Jewish citizens stay home, close their shops, remove their Stars of David, and hide their mezuzahs.
Let’s Lay Out the Reality You Won’t Say Out Loud
- Jewish schoolchildren are told not to wear uniforms in public — because it’s too dangerous to be visibly Jewish.
- Every synagogue in England looks like a military base — surrounded by blast barriers, metal detectors, and armed guards.
- Jews walking past “protests” are spat on, assaulted, or chased away.
- On social media and public transport, harassment is routine.
And yet — when the inevitable happens, when a Jew-hater decides to take it further — you respond like it’s a mystery.
As if antisemitism materialized from thin air.
You legitimised it.
You empowered it.
You let it grow unchecked.
The Recognition of a Palestinian State Was a Green Light for Extremists
When your government chose to recognise a Palestinian state — with no conditions, no peace deal, no rejection of terrorism required — you sent a loud message:
“Intimidation works. Violence pays. Scream loudly enough, threaten often enough — and eventually, we will cave.”
You rewarded hatred.
And now, when Jewish blood runs in the streets of Manchester, you offer more police patrols as if that’s supposed to be comforting.
No. You don’t get to act like the firefighter when you spent years pouring gasoline.
Jews Don’t Need Your Sympathy — They Need Your Backbone
Do not tell us you “stand with the Jewish community.”
Do not tweet “Never Again” while letting Always Again unfold in real time.
Do not say you’ll “protect synagogues” when you are the reason synagogues need protection.
Shame on you.
Until the UK Government stops appeasing extremism instead of confronting it —
Until “zero tolerance” means zero, not “unless we’re afraid of backlash” —
Until Jews can walk freely in London as Muslims do in Tel Aviv —
You have failed.
And history will remember you not as defenders of democracy —
But as those who were too cowardly to defend the people who needed it
WHO IS JIHAD AL‑SHAMIE? THE MAN BEHIND THE MANCHESTER SYNAGOGUE ATTACK

Jihad Al‑Shamie, 35, a British citizen of Syrian descent, is identified as the man who rammed worshippers with a car and then stabbed people during Yom Kippur, killing 2 and seriously injuring others.
He grew up a 20‑minute walk from the synagogue, worked as an English and coding tutor, and posted family photos, the sort of local profile that makes the whole thing feel eerily ordinary.
Police shot him down seven minutes into the assault, and investigators have since arrested 2 men and a woman as the probe continues.
