What an extraordinary privilege it is to live in the Elon Musk era — to witness his achievements unfold in real time, one groundbreaking milestone after another.
Elon Musk is not merely building cars, rockets, microchips, tunnels, or AI models.
He is building the future of humanity.
His creations are as transformative as the invention of agriculture, money, the printing press, electricity, and the internet combined.
Jealous critics — people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jasmine Crockett, Bernie Sanders, and recently even pop singer Billie Eilish — love to attack his wealth. But his wealth is only a tiny reflection of the immense value he has created for the world.
Just stop and think for a second:
- Reusable rockets — SpaceX has revolutionized space travel and slashed launch costs by orders of magnitude.
- Starlink — global satellite internet that already lets you make a crystal-clear phone call from the middle of the North Pole to the middle of the South Pole. This is insane… in the best way possible!
- Electric vehicles — Tesla didn’t just improve the car. He completely reinvented it. In less than 15 years, he turned EVs from a niche curiosity into the future standard. Within a decade, most new cars on the road will be electric — largely because of him.
- The Boring Company — digging tunnels faster and cheaper than most cities can build highways.
- Neuralink — successfully implanting brain-computer interfaces in humans, opening the door to curing paralysis, blindness, and eventually merging human cognition with AI.
- xAI and Grok — in his “spare time,” he built the most advanced (and least censored) AI chatbot on Earth, plus Grokpedia, a real alternative to the increasingly biased and woke ChatGPT and Wikipedia.
- Tesla Bot (Optimus) — a humanoid robot straight out of science-fiction movies, now walking, talking, and learning real tasks in factories.
And then there’s the raw economic impact (2021–2025 alone):
- $110 billion in salaries paid to ~145,000 engineers, technicians, factory workers, rocket scientists, and AI researchers across America.
- $46 billion in taxes paid to federal, state, and local governments — more than the entire annual budget of countries like Uruguay, Iceland, or Jordan.
- $182 billion paid to U.S. suppliers and contractors — including $7 billion that SpaceX alone spent on American-made rocket parts.
Critics like AOC, Bernie Sanders, and Billie Eilish love to scream about Elon’s wealth.
Yet Elon Musk, in just the last five years, has injected more money into the American economy — and spread more real wealth to workers, suppliers, and communities — than all of those critics combined have in their entire careers.
So congratulations, Elon.
Not just for the rockets, the cars, the robots, the brain chips, the tunnels, Grok, and xAI (which I personally use every single day),
but for the far greater gift: showing the world what one determined human being can achieve, and inspiring millions of us that we, too, can create a better future — each according to our own capacity.
While some people only know how to criticize,
Elon knows how to create wealth, progress, and prosperity for everyone.
Thank you, Elon.
