When Science Bends the Knee to Ideology: Left-Wing Doctors Dodging Biology 101

In today’s polarized world, even the most straightforward biological questions can spark controversy. During a recent Senate hearing on the abortion pill mifepristone, Senator Josh Hawley posed a simple query to Dr. Nisha Verma, an OB/GYN and expert in female reproductive health: “Can men get pregnant?” What should have been a quick “no” turned into a hesitant, evasive response. Dr. Verma paused, questioning the “goal” of the inquiry, and emphasized caring for patients with diverse identities rather than providing a direct answer.

This exchange highlights a growing concern: Has left-wing ideology so infiltrated the medical field that professionals can’t affirm basic biological truths? It’s not an isolated incident. Viral stories have emerged of nurses being required to administer pregnancy tests to transgender women—biological males—before procedures like X-rays, purely to adhere to “inclusive” policies. One ER nurse shared her frustration in a widely shared video, explaining how hospital protocols mandate these tests for liability reasons, despite the impossibility of pregnancy in such cases.

Some argue, “What’s the harm in accommodating delusions for the sake of sensitivity?” But let’s be real—these practices waste precious resources. In an era where healthcare costs are skyrocketing and access is limited for many, every unnecessary test adds to the burden. Pregnancy tests aren’t free; they contribute to higher bills and longer wait times. More importantly, when doctors prioritize political agendas over evidence-based science, it undermines public trust in the entire system.

Wasting money on ideologically driven protocols is like throwing cash at a bad investment—it erodes value without delivering returns. If medical professionals refuse to acknowledge simple facts, like the biological reality that only females can get pregnant, there should be consequences. Perhaps suspending licenses for those who put ideology ahead of practice isn’t too far-fetched. After all, medicine should be grounded in truth, not trends.

What do you think? Should doctors face professional repercussions for denying basic biology, or is “inclusivity” worth the financial and trust costs in healthcare? Share your thoughts in the comments below—let’s keep the conversation civil and fact-based.
