Director Arthur Kanegis produced the 1982 Paul Newman/Haskell Wexler film War Without Winners and did the Nuclear War research for the 1983 ABC movie The Day After, which had the largest audience of any made-for-TV movie ever.
Ronald Reagan in his memoirs credits it with convincing him to engage in Strategic Arms limitation treaties with the Soviets. Kanegis hosts the weekly People Powered Planet Podcast featuring Solutionaries solving global problems.
