5 Ways to Make More Time to Create

5 Ways to Make More Time to Create

When you are somebody who loves creating things, making art, or dedicating energy to crafting, you may wish that you had a lot more time in your schedule to do it. If you have found yourself getting really frustrated with not being able to enjoy your passions as much as you like to, maybe it’s time for you to make a change. In this blog post, we’re going to look at five different ways for you to carve out more time to dedicate to creating art and your crafts.

1. Make it a Priority

First of all, you will always find that if you want to make more time to create things and to work on your art, you need to make it a priority. This sounds very obvious, but not many people actually do this. You will tell yourself that every other area of your life is more important. That’s often because you see your craft as something that is a hobby or that you do in your spare time. But when you start to see it in a different light, you can make it a priority and ensure there’s always time for it.

2. Outsource Tasks

If you feel like there’s too much on your to-do list, you may want to ask for help. After all, the last thing that you want to do is dedicate too much of your precious time to things like cleaning and chores when you could be creating things here. You may find that hiring a cleaner, just like Sparkly Maid, helps you to free up time. That’s then time that you can then spend creating and dedicating to your art.

3. Get Organized

Another idea here is just to make sure that you’re more organised. This again may sound like an obvious one, but how many times do you find yourself procrastinating or getting overwhelmed? When that’s the case, you may find that just getting yourself more organised and managing your time better can really help you to focus on your crafting.

4. Cut Dead Ends

And then sometimes we just need to be that bit more ruthless. There will always be things in your life that you can cut out. Again, this is where the power of prioritizing comes in. When you start to look at what matters to you the most, you’ll see that there are things that you may do or dedicate time to that you can remove from your life altogether.

5. Audit Your Life

Ultimately, you’ll find that auditing your life can make a huge difference here. If you go for days or weeks on end feeling like you just don’t have enough time to create or dedicate to your crafting or anything in between, you need to focus on why. Again, making it your priority should be the number one thing you do here. But sometimes you may find that you’re procrastinating, or the other things are getting in the way. Most of the time, just being more conscious about this and being proactive about committing to your crafts and the things you want to create could make a huge difference here. Before you know it, you’ll have built up a habit.
